Parched in a Sea of 1400 Students

Probably because I come and go from campus so quickly and I'm only ever on campus to study or work, I find it difficult to meet acquaintances on campus. Sometimes the age gap feels great between me and my classmates, at other times I feel like a 12-year-old.
My study skills are rustier than these whipsmart kids born in the 1990's, and I feel like a doofus in class sometimes. I really DON'T have an opinion of the theory in J Tickner's dissection of international relations- at least not one that isn't childish.
I went to the DoJo to seek help for my first paper for Reed's only required course: Humanities 110, a foundation of Greek and Roman civilization. I also, I discovered, have no opinion or original theories about the Iliad's description of death. I just know a lot of people die.
I went to the queer alliance meeting before I rolled home and had a great time chatting with folks. It was the first social thing I'd been to on campus.
