Day 171: I GOT IN!

About 3PM today, I decided to ring my admissions officer at Reed and ask how the waitlist was doing. And...
I GOT IN!
"Was that what I think it was?" asked my co-worker Heather after I hung up, sticking her head over our cube wall.
"I got into Reed College!"
Stephen jumped up and ran around all of the cubes to give me a hug, and Theo ran over from his office after I texted him to give me a hug.
Appropriately, I celebrated my first day of being an accepted student at Reed by skipping class (trapeze), buying liquor, and making fajitas and mohitos. The night was toasted away on Theo's porch.
